I love the rain season. For a minute I didn't think it was gonna come. I actually was worried. But I love watching a storm form in the distance, then roll threw rumbling and shaking the windows. Lightning cracking the sky and flashing in all directions. I love how it breaks the heat and everything instantly gets 20 degrees cooler. As a kid, there was many a time I got trapped by the storm and had to huddle under some foreign roof waiting for the turbulent thunder system to pass.
I know some of you dislike it, ruins your plans for a ride, but its a season and it does not last forever. Eventually, the season will change and the excessive dryness will return, but for now, I will enjoy the joys and relief that the benevolent rainstorms bring.
