I've looked over the individual day routes and taken in the overall big picture... I like! Looks like a lot of asphalt mixed in there. Might be a good ride to do on a cross bike - not that i have one......
Well,the single track at spruce creek is SICK. Mind you, I am a huge cross rider, all I used to ride. There will be some long off road stuff as well. And there may be some questionable terrain. The backroads that we will take are all pretty nice. 415 sucks, but the others dont. And it mixes lovely with the NK ride and some great spots for camping. I have even considered just skipping the first bivy at rattlesnake and pushing a straight 40 miles to camp at spruce creek. It will be a bad ass tour. But your right. There is alot of road, I tried to keep the roads interesting.
