i've used this before:http://www.eurekatent.com/p-22-solitaire.aspx and it is great... but for bike camping i'd go for the hammock. no need for a sleeping pad which is a much lighter setup. and it keeps you away from most of the creepy-crawlies.
The hammock looks great but I am not sure about that self closing entrance. I toss and turn a lot and I would be afraid to fall off. But it is easier to carry then a traiditional tent.
