So on my ride home from Work Wenesday I cut into an little off road section that leads to a parking lot that I have been wanting to check on for months.
I cut in there, hop the fence and see that they have trails in there that could be biked. I swiped a map and kept pedaling home.
Yesterday after picking up my son, I cut over to where the trail exits on Lemon Bluff road and looked for the entrance and it was an easy find.
So Im thinking with this I can add about 7 miles of off road adventure to the NK ride. Making it possible to extend the ride closer to the 70 something mile mark. The question is, how adventurous will the riders feel tomorrow morning? Will they be up for the extra mileage or desire an easier day.
As well, I have not rode the entire route since sometime in 2009, what will the conditions be like? How has it changed? All of this remains to be seen as I venture on and pedal the route tomorrow.
It will be a warm day so I will plan 3 water breaks instead of one in the middle, and I will have to tell the riders of the possible Bushwacking requirements, all in hopes that everyone keeps a positive attitude and keeps their goals realistic. What's the goal??? To have fun what else.
Hope to see everyone there, would appreciate the company and the ride time...
Take care,
Laters,
The NaKeD InDiaN
